A PR pro with twenty years of experience and contacts, Barbara has overseen successful, integrated communications programs for consumer, tech, medical, legal, non-profit and arts clients, from Fortune 500 to startup, that resulted in improved brand awareness, expanded customer and donor bases and increased engagement.
She counsels stakeholders on positioning, message development, media and digital strategies, business development, partnerships and overall mission. A crackerjack writer with a sixth sense for traditional and digital media, Barbara has garnered substantial coverage for her clients in their most desired outlets.
Based on the unique requirements of each project, Barbara works independently or creates teams from a network of talented professionals in design, printing, digital marketing, event planning, video services, photography and more. Barbara received her undergraduate degree from Boston University with additional studies at Columbia University, and a master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music. Prior to founding SchackPR, she spent seven years working with award-winning clients in two boutique PR agencies, both based in New York City.
